Christian is so cute

A couple of days ago Christian said, "Does anyone have a little money to buy me a thing from Walmart?"

Another one of his funny quotes happened when Christian was wearing a skirt and dancing around.
Me: "Christian, are you a girl?"
Christian: "I'm a girl. No, you're a girl. I'm a dress!"

When Mom (Janel) told Christian it was Resting Time, Christian said, "I'm a little shy about resting."

Christian: "I have a joke."
Me: "What it is?"
Christian: "If you had a long neck, you could be a giraffe!"

Christian: "I have an idela (idea) Ssssss! (Shh) Once upon a time, there was a little boy and he liked cars and he watched CARS 2! To save the world!

This one is totally random.
Christian: "I was barfing on my blanket, and on my baby carseat, and Micah was barfing too. Awkward! Micah barfed on the peaches. And I don't know. I'm feeling better now of just barfing again, Mom. But I not barfing."

While Christian was eating breakfast, Mom came over to fix his hair.
Christian: "Don't do my hair! I want it brown."

Christian: Let's go put this in (a movie) to save the world!"

We were going on a hike, and Christian wouldn't put clothes on.
Mom: "You can't wear PJs on a hike!"
Christian: "I can. I'm tricky like that."

Christian held the cat up high and declared, "Super Mario Brothers!"

Christian was putting stickers on a paper and said, "Look so pretty colors. I'm the best thing ever."

One day Lily started singing the song, "What Does the Fox Say?" and Christian invented his own verse: "What does the strawberry say? Num, num, num. . . ."

Mom made popcorn for me one day when I was sick and lying on the couch. Christian brought me the bowl and said, "Just take one." He popped one piece in my mouth and took the rest.

When Mom told Christian he could watch a movie he said, "You are the best thing ever."

Christian: "No giving hot carrots to me, Dad" (cooked carrots)

One day I was using one of Christian's favorite books as a desk (writing on it with a paper) and he pulled it away and said, "That's too dangerous, Sage."

Christian: "Thank you."
Mom: "You're welcome."
Christian: "You're welcome too."

Dad (Mark) to Christian: "You're a pill."
Christian: "No, I a beebee." (baby)

Mom: "Let's put on your shoes and go to church."
Christian: "Not today, Zurg!" (from Toy Story 2)

Christian went and shut the door to the toy room, and came out wearing princess heels. He clacked down the hall saying, "What's up, dude?'

Christian: "I hurt myself on my sock."

In church, someone started a piano solo and Christian perked up and said, "Where's Daddy?"

Christian (talking to himself): "What call them? Diapers. Nope. I call them a movie."

There was a spider in Mom and Dad's bedroom. Mom invited Christian to come see it and he said, "I too 'cared. Duh 'pider." (I'm too scared of the spider)

Christian: "I have a question."
He gave us all post-it notes.
Christian: "This is a question."

Lily to Christian: "Do you need to use the bathroom?"
Christian: "No. I need chippies." (chips)

Mom to Christian: "Are you my baby?"
Christian: "I have a baby face, so I is a baby."

Mom didn't give Christian unlimited computer time and Christian said, "That didn't make me feel nice; it made me feel bad a little bit."

Lily (while practicing letters): "A-apple-ah-ah-ah"
Christian (practicing his own letters): "B-lion-roar-roar-roar"

Dad tucked Christian into bed and left. A few minutes later. . .
Christian: "Dad, I need you!"
When Dad didn't come. . .
Christian: "Don't make me count!"
Which is what Dad always says to us when we don't come fast enough.

 Christian is too cute!

P.S. If you comment please add your favorite one of the things that Christian has said.

Thanksgiving Mint OREO Ice Cream Pie

This Thanksgiving, I chose to help my awesome aunt Heather make some mashed potatoes for everyone who was going to be coming over. After we had scrubbed all the potatoes and put them in a pot on the stove, we decided we wanted to make more than just potatoes. Heather suggested we make a pie.

I thought about it, and then had the perfect idea. My dad had invented something called an Oreo Ice Cream Pie.The filling was cookies and cream ice cream, and the crust was made of Oreos. Yum! We searched all over for some Oreos, but we couldn't find anything except for Grandpa's secret stash of cheap cookies, which could never replace Oreos.

Then I remembered we had some leftover mint Oreos in the car, but it probably wouldn't be enough. It wasn't. We decided to add some Grasshoppers (they're mint fudge-covered cookies) to make the crust. After the crust was done, it was time to add the ice cream. But this time, we put in mint chocolate chip ice cream instead of cookies and cream. We put the pie into the freezer so it didn't melt while we were waiting.

When the time came for pie, all the pies got set out (there were 9 of them) on the counter. Everyone came into the kitchen ready to eat. We all started eating. 5 minutes later, there was about one piece gone out of every pie. Every pie except for Heather and my pie. It was all gone! Everyone had loved our Mint Oreo Ice Cream Pie!

My haircut

A few months ago I got a haircut because my hair was getting too long and snarly. The bummer was that September 24 was picture day. I got a picture with long hair and then the next day we went to get a haircut. The lady who cut my hair's name was Andrea. She spent a lot of the time brushing my snarly hair. (Uh oh!)Then she cut it. It took her about half an hour to do the cutting part, but when she was finished, it was all worth it. My mom asked her how much it was, and she said it was free. My mom was surprised, and then Andrea asked her for tips. My mom gave them $8 and we left. I felt like a brand new person!  And that is the story of my haircut.

Girls on the run 5k

Yesterday I ran a 5k. A real live 5k!! It came with a program called Girls on the Run. It was for girls age 8-11. I'm 8 years old, so it was perfect. First we got water bottles and T-shirts. We learned lessons every week on; what to do when you're angry, to think positive thoughts about yourself and others, being kind and doing service to others, and lots more things. Soon we got to get a running buddy to run the race with us. Mine was my aunt Becca. When we signed them up, we got some colorful socks (I'm not wearing them in the pictures). Then we ran a practice 5k, to help us get ready for the race. Our team name was, The Pink Cheetahs. Then we got to pick something to wear at the race. We chose black tutus and colorful socks (different ones). Then it was time to run the race. We drove to the place and got a race day T- shirt. We painted our faces, did our hair, and stretched. Then it was time to run. It was a very hard race with a lot of hills. But, I made it. It was very fun to do that program. Here are some pictures.

Jumping!!

My best friend Millie and me.

High fives!

This is my running outfit. Beautiful!

Bear Lake

About a month ago we went to Bear Lake. At first we stayed in an inn called Crystal inn. There we swam in the awesome pool. (Pictures up there) We also went to the Pepperidge Farm and the Gossner's Dairy. (Sounds like a weird name if you ask me. Gossner's Dairy.) Then came the Bear Lake part. It was a long drive but totally worth it. We played in there for hours. I hope our next trip to Bear Lake will be just like this one.

Frog Face

Eliza and I decided that we would have a princess party (day) each year on April 26 on April 26. We had our first Princess Day that day. I just wanted to tell you a little bit about it. . . . . . . . . . .
We agreed that we would each dress up like a different princess each year, We would have face painting and games, and we would invited other people to dress like princesses and come. We invited 2 people this year. I dressed up like Tiana and Eliza dressed up like Aurora. First we had face painting. I painted Eliza's face. She painted mine. She told me she wanted a rose on her face for Sleeping Beauty. I told her that I wanted my whole face painted like a frog and my tongue for Tiana.( You can see a picture of that up there!!) I waited patiently as she painted my face green and my tongue pink. When it was done we played a few games outside in the sun so my face could dry. After that, I had a really good, super duper, green and pink. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . FROG FACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
